Elite Amateur category added to REV3 Quassy.

Revolution3 Triathlon is proud to announce the addition of an elite amateur age-group category.  The elite amateur category will start immediately after to pro athletes and is designed to enable faster amateurs to start near the front of the race.  The Rev3 live race day video will also be covering the end of the elite amateur race and this will help us to identify the elite amateurs that are leading the race.

If you've completed within the last 18 months in a half distance race that is USAT sanctioned in less than 4 hours 30 minutes for men or 5 hours 05 minutes for women and you would like to be considered for the age group elite wave, please submit a request and a link to the applicable results to charlie@rev3tri.com.

Only athletes who have submitted qualifying results and received confirmation will be put into the age group elite wave. Athletes must complete this process by the end of the business day May 21st, 2010.

Please know that competing in the age group elite wave prohibits USAT from considering your results for year-end rankings.  You will however, be eligible for awards in the elite amateur category and the Rev3 series prize purse for age-groupers.  Entry into this category is at the sole discretion of Revolution3 Triathlon.
